After months of snow, Vermont explodes into a riotous celebration of water and sunlight. Our inaugural box was inspired by the abundance of a Vermont summer. It features small batch items made with fresh, wholesome ingredients as follows:
- Maple Seltzer; Vermont Sweetwater Bottling Co.
We like to call it “nature’s sports drink.” This family-owned company harvests the sap from maple trees, carbonates and bottles it. Nothing could be more refreshing on a hot summer day. Also a superb cocktail mixer.
- Chioggia Beet Toffee; Down 2 Earth Confections
Hand crafted vanilla bean toffee infused with local organic garden beets, smothered with a special blend of 3 organic chocolates. Topped with caramelized cocoa nibs, ground bittersweet chocolate and sea salt. This toffee sells out regularly at our local market and is one of our go-to host/hostess gifts!
- Thistleberry Hill Garden Soap
Handcrafted by a health-conscious mother in the tiny hamlet of Taftsville, Vermont, this luxurious double-butter formulation contains: Vermont Goat Milk, Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Non-GMO Canola oil, Shea Butter, Mango Butter, Sodium Hydroxide, Pure Essential Oils, Spinach and Spirulina Powder.
Developed by a licensed physical therapist and wound care specialist, this salve will protect and soothe the hardest working hands. But why stop there? Also excellent as a lip balm and on any dry patches of skin. Infused with calendula, lavender and vanilla, and packaged in glass exclusively for Vermont Crafted.
- Garden candle; Whisper Hill x Vermont Crafted
We partnered with this Quechee-based maker to develop a candle that functions as well indoors as it does outside, using only pure essential oils (i.e. no synthetic "fragrance" oils) and 100% American-farmed soy wax (i.e. no paraffin). The citrusy fresh blend will deter bugs, but not your guests. Also great in the kitchen! Burn time: 45 hours.
- Cools Ya Twice tea; Freeverse Farm
Grown by a small farm in Chelsea in the Green Mountains of Vermont, this blend of sustainably-harvested herbs tastes delicious hot or iced. Each sachet brews a half gallon of tea; free of caffeine, full of naturally cooling and calming herbs.
